The Kern County Model “T” Ford Club of Kern County is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014
The Model T Ford Club of Kern County was formed in September of 1964 at Jastro Park in Bakersfield, California and incorporated January 8, 1965 as a non-profit organization.
Our by-laws dictate that we are to serve as a medium of ideas, information and parts for admirers of the Model T Ford car and to aid them in their efforts to restore and preserve the Model T.
To unite in a central organization all owners of Model T Fords who are interested in restoring and maintaining the automobile to obtain respect within the community, and it shall further be the purpose of this Club to help these members become better acquainted and encourage the spirit of good fellowship.
Almost every Thursday evening a few Club memberw meet to talk and work on cars. If you’re a member, which costs $12.00 per year, you can bring your car or parts and the group will help you lean to work on it. Sometimes there might be a spare replacement part handy or you can buy the part from the many suppliers available. The group has many years of experience and knowledge and is willing to share that knowledge.
We schedule tour, car shows, swap meets, and special events each month for the group to get together and enjoy driving and showing their Model T’s. We are a very active club with many wonderful members who love their cars. Web site http://modeltfordclubofkerncounty.org
